On exhibit were some of my Abandoned series of digital photographic prints on canvas, featuring some of by B&Ws of "The O House". The show was featuring my fellow University of Rhode Island undergrad artists, and I'm happy to say it was a packed venue-- despite the weather.
I was able to strike up some engaging conversations on the prints of "The O House" as I reminisced about the effort and research that went into those shots. Everyone at Hera that night wasn't able to see some of the other artifacts I found at the site; including personal letters, immigration documents, and some very old books relevant to the local state history, but I'm glad I was able to share some of those stories face to face. :D
