What camera do you use?
What camera do I use? This is a question I tend to get a lot when I am out shooting, my answer is generally whichever one I have on me, usually my Nikon D800, but that doesn't mean that it is the best. I base the majority of the items that I sink my money into based on their ability to take and hold an image, which is why I dedicated myself to my iPhone(a phone that still has one of the best cameras on the market).
But in the end I don't think that it should matter the phone that you have, the point and shoot, or even the DSLR, what matters is your ability to capture the images around you. There is a great book by a photographer names Chase Jarvis, called "The Best Camera is the One That's With You" , something that is not only pure fact, but also a great way to inspire you.
You won't always be carrying around that DSLR, what happens when you see an amazing possible image? Use what you have. Whip out that phone, GoPro, or point and shoot, capture that image. You know what you are doing, just believe in your own ability, and get that image.
If you still don't believe me, stop by DigitalRev Tv's series, Pro Photographer, Cheap Camera, on YouTube. They give professional photographers simple, cheap cameras, and challenge them to create images with them, and the results are nothing but stunning.
