Revival Brewing Co. [Cranston, RI]
Craft beer is the beverage of choice for more and more of us for a relaxing night, or time spent with friends. Like any interest of your persuasion, it’s not a bad idea to look beyond the shelf or the fridge and find seek out the source. Not limited to geography, small and medium sized breweries are everywhere. Our own Southern New England area has quite a few.
Beer enthusiasts (that’s drinkers, like you and me) are an easy enough bunch to get along with… particularly if we’re sharing our favorite brews— but brewers are even nicer! And many of them are open to public tours, tastings, and an opportunity to fill up your own growler straight from the source.
If you have an hour or two free on a weekend, it’s not too much of a hassle to find some of your local brewers and pay them a visit; we did just that in Cranston, Rhode Island at the home of Revival Brewing Company (@revivalbrewing on Instagram).
We sampled a flight of our favorite brews, some new ones, and some odd ones. Of course, we received a lot of information on the ingredients, brewing process, and the particular notes each brew had to offer.
More than an excuse to have a cold one (or even a sour one if you’re the adventurous type) in the late morning, visiting Revival was a fun and easy stop on our day of weekend exploration. If there’s a PSA in here, it’s to support your local brewers and make some new friends. Most breweries will have easy to follow instructions and a dedicated contact line for setting up tour and visiting hours.
Kudos to Revival Brewing Co. for allowing us to visit and capture the moment. You should thank them by LIKE and SHARING this post, and following them on Instagram @revivalbrewing and on their Official Facebook Page.
